Welcome to Get Quizzical (“Quizzical,” “we,” “our,” or “us”). This Privacy Policy explains what information we collect, how we use it, and the choices you have when using the Get Quizzical mobile application and related services.
When you create an account using Sign in with Apple, Google, or another supported login method, we may collect your account identifier, display name, email address or Apple private relay email, and profile photo if you choose to upload one.
We collect information related to your use of Quizzical, including quizzes you create or play, multiplayer room participation, scores, rankings, streaks, gameplay statistics, favorites, likes, quiz prompts, and generated quiz content.
If you subscribe to Quizzical Pro, purchases are processed by Apple through the App Store. Subscription status and entitlement information are processed through RevenueCat. We do not collect or store your payment card details.
We may collect limited technical information such as device type, app version, crash and diagnostic information, general usage analytics, IP address, and approximate region.
We use information to provide and operate Quizzical, authenticate your account, sync gameplay and multiplayer sessions, save quiz history and progress, process and restore subscriptions, improve app quality and reliability, prevent abuse or fraud, and provide support.
Quizzical uses AI systems to help generate quizzes, prompts, explanations, images, and related content. Quiz prompts and related generation inputs may be processed by third-party AI providers and infrastructure services to provide these features.
Please avoid submitting sensitive personal information in quiz prompts.
Some content may be visible to other users, including your display name, public profile information, public quizzes you create, multiplayer participation, and scores. Please avoid sharing sensitive personal information in public quizzes, usernames, or profile content.
We do not sell your personal information.
We may share limited information with trusted service providers that help operate Quizzical, including Supabase, RevenueCat, Apple, AI providers, analytics providers, and hosting/infrastructure providers. These providers process information only as needed to provide their services to us.
We retain account and gameplay data for as long as your account remains active or as reasonably necessary to operate the service, comply with legal obligations, resolve disputes, and enforce agreements.
Depending on your location, you may have rights to access, correct, delete, or request a copy of your personal information.
You may manage App Store subscriptions through your Apple account settings. You may request account deletion by contacting us at the email below. When you request account deletion, we will delete or de-identify personal account information unless we need to retain certain information for legal, security, fraud prevention, or operational reasons.
Quizzical is not directed to children under 13, and we do not knowingly collect personal information from children under 13. If you believe a child has provided personal information, please contact us so we can remove it.
We use reasonable technical and organizational measures to help protect user information. However, no method of electronic transmission or storage is completely secure.
Your information may be processed and stored in countries outside your own, including the United States.
We may update this Privacy Policy from time to time. If we make material changes, we will update the “Last updated” date above.
